Who am I?
Let me introduce myself... I am Aidan, a 20-year-old who loves media from paper to production. I believe that my passion for media was an innate element in me but from a different perspective. When I was young I used to participate in various tv and radio programmes, in front of the camera and microphone. However, now I do appreciate more the efforts from behind the scenes.

I started in front of the camera on TV, and behind the microphone in various radio programmes, however as time passed by, I started to enjoy myself more behind the scenes. I started as a technical assistant in a local radio station, assisting in various transmissions: live, recorded and also outside broadcasting.

Later on, in 2017, I have been given the opportunity of working with a local TV station, where I have learnt to set up equipment (mainly for outside broadcasting), control and work with professional PTZ cameras, and also direct live transmissions for TV. During this time, I have also shown interest and started to learn by myself Adobe Premiere for editing basic adverts for TV as well.

Later on, I have also started to do some freelance work for a couple of clients, which mainly involved video editing. With reference to my portfolio, I have edited various online features, podcasts, adverts/promos and also a couple of passion projects in which I have also competed with them in a national and international competition.
​
In 2021, I have decided to take this "hobby" of media to a professional level and diverted my studies towards MCAST, reading for a degree in Creative Media Production.
​
Currently, I am working on launching my own videography brand while also working part-time as a Transmission Officer with a local TV station. In the meantime, I kept working some freelance editing work on the side.
