In my previous post, I have focused only on the colour grading, and how it was fundamental in films like The Matrix. Furthermore, I will be focusing on the Bitch is Back scene in the 2019 film Rocketman. During this scene, the colour grading focuses on Elton John, and on his version as a young child, therefore guiding the viewers' eyes onto these two figures, simply by amplifying their colour. Furthermore, the older version of Elton John was wearing a bombastic, shiny orange costume, which keeps amplifying his colour, giving him the limelight even more.
The above photo depicts the first part of the song, where the thing which distinct Elton John from the rest is the bombastic orange costume, whereas the rest are wearing clothes on the schemes of black and white. Also, the background is graded quite shady, attracting the audiences' eyes onto the main actor.
The second photo shows the second part of this song, where clearly, the background and the other people are graded quite off in colour, whereas both versions of Elton John (front and back) are clearly colour-graded differently.
